REFERENCE GUIDES
Steam Quality
Wet steam contains water droplets. Dry saturated steam releases heat as it condenses; superheated steam must first cool to saturation.
At the Point of Use
Assess pressure, temperature and moisture at the equipment inlet. Boiler output alone does not describe the steam reaching your process.
Consider the Whole System
Piping, separation, drainage and pressure control all influence delivered steam quality.
